You Draw Me

You draw me in
with a snaffle of fingers,
wresting my head

from your breast to your shoulder.
You draw me, in
a sketch of air, the moon

soothing your eyelids
with a long, cool look, while
you draw me in.

*

You draw me out
from kerfuffles of sleep.
stealing yourself

in the theft of my neck.
You draw me, out
of ripples and shivers, the sun

smooching your eyelids
with a soft, pale pastel, while
you draw me out.
